Sandpiper Juniors 2010-2011
49th year of touching lives in the community

PRESIDENTS’ MESSAGE

As your 2010-2011 Sandpiper Juniors Co-Presidents, we are excitedly anticipating a year filled with service, leadership, and friendship. It is our pleasure and honor to lead such a dedicated and philanthropic group of young women, and we hope to continue the profound legacy of this organization. We hope that at the conclusion of this year, each and every Sandpiper Junior will confirm her love for community service and giving back to those less fortunate than ourselves.

This year we hope to not only expand our sphere of influence and ability to help our community, but also to create the same friendships and lasting bonds that we have gained from Sandpiper Juniors. As an organization Sandpiper Juniors will be wholeheartedly dedicated to our mission:to improve the lives of others around us. This can only happen if we put our heart and soul into our work, unconditionally. We also hope to see a transformation in the perspective of our members. Rather than viewing Sandpipers as an obligation or a necessity, we hope that it is viewed as an opportunity for us, as individuals, to grow as generous and well rounded people who are eager to serve our community.

Sandpiper Juniors is different from other organizations because of the amount of time we spend doing community service and helping others. We are committed to and enthusiastic about donating our time and energy, more than ever before, to our community. We hope to introduce a larger array of service opportunities to sandpiper Juniors and reinvent the creative spirit of our organization. With all of this in mind we must remember that we all come from different backgrounds, schools, and cities, but are all working towards the same goal.

In order to achieve our goals, we must work diligently to close the gap between Sandpiper Juniors and our parent organization, Sandpipers, for only their dedication and support has allowed us to make it this far. Also, we would like to thank the members of our community, especially the organizations that embrace what we do and allow us to support their charitable activities. Lastly, we would like to thank the Executive Board in advance for all of the hard work, time, and devotion they will put into Sandpiper Juniors. With our dedication, we will see Sandpiper Juniors progress and excel.

We are so grateful that we have the opportunity to work with such passionate and generous girls, and we are excited to watch the members of our organization achieve things they never thought possible. We look forward to continuing old traditions and creating new ones that will stay with Sandpiper Juniors for years to come. Only with the help of new ideas and avid support from our members will Sandpiper Juniors be capable of success..

Here's to another fulfilling year of service and giving back to our community!
