Presidents Message
As your 2008-2009 Sandpiper Juniors Co-Presidents we expect this year to be filled with memories, excitement, and most importantly friendship! We are honored to assume this leadership role as your Co-Presidents and we look forward to an exciting year. We believe that Sandpiper Juniors is an organization that possesses the ability to do great things for our community and with the help of a dedicated membership, we hope to make our 47th year of service the most successful yet!
As Sandpiper Juniors, it is not only our responsibility to better our community, but also to better our membership, as well as ourselves. This means that we need to be one united organization that works together as a team to accomplish our primary goal: to serve and benefit our community and those in need. We hope to keep everyone connected this year, not only by maintaining previous friendships, but by creating new ones as well. No matter what school you go to, or what city you live in, we are all part of the same community. With that in mind, we hope to continue to foster the sisterhood that has grown and that will continue to grow within our organization.
What sets our organization apart from many others is the tremendous amount of service and time that we give back to our community. Community Service allows us to reach out to those in need while enriching our lives at the same time. Giving back and donating our time is the backbone of our organization and we must not lose sight of the fact that effective and meaningful local outreach is always at the top of our agenda.
Many thanks are due to our parent organization, Sandpipers, for their continual support, assistance, and the leadership that they have offered throughout the years. We would also like to thank our community service affiliates for giving us and those before us the opportunity to serve our community. Lastly, we would like to thank our Executive Board for all of the work they’ve done as well as an advance thank-you for all the contributions they will be making in the upcoming year.
As your Co-Presidents, we are excited to embark on a new and successful year. We hope to continue our theme of staying connected by keeping communication open between each and every member. We encourage all of you to share your comments and ideas with us as the year progresses. We thank you advance for all your hard work and devotion to our organization. Without dedicated members like you, Sandpiper Juniors would be nowhere near as successful as it is today!
Here’s to another excellent and rewarding Sandpiper Juniors year!
