PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE
As your 2011-2012
Sandpiper Juniors Co-Presidents, we look forward to a year rich in service,
leadership, and friendship. We are honored to have the opportunity to lead such
an invested and selfless group of young women, and are confident we can
continue the astounding legacy of this 5o year old organization. It is our hope
that upon completion of another successful year of Sandpiper Juniors each admirable
young lady in our membership will walk away with a reaffirmed devotion to
community service and giving back. It is our hope that we will be able to aid our organization to
transition into the future with grace and ease. We want to renew time-honored
traditions, as well as create a few of our own. We want to focus on the
Sandpiper Juniors mission: To improve the lives of others around us. As wonderful as this program already is
there is always room to improve the foundation which has been left for us by
the awe-inspiring young women who preceded us. We feel that with more
membership involvement in the decision making processes we will have a stronger,
unified front with which we can face the community and tackle larger
challenges. It is our hope to spread the message of Sandpiper Juniors
throughout the South Bay by increasing publicity and local service. Hopefully these
measures will work to increase the scope of our effect on maximizing the good
that comes from the countless hours our membership dedicates.
With
many visions and plans for the upcoming year it is of the utmost importance
that we have the full support of all the individuals whose dedication helps
this organization reach and exceed its full potential. We feel our main focus
this year must therefore be inspiring passion and strengthening the bonds within
our membership. The giving spirit is contagious and it is our desire to extend
its scope from our membership to the community around us. The more impassioned
we are as Sandpiper Juniors about our service the more our philanthropic nature
will catch on in the South Bay creating a community filled with goodwill and
selflessness.
We
would like to thank the members of our community, especially the organizations
that embrace our efforts and allow us to support their altruistic activities.
Lastly, we would like to thank the Executive Board in advance for all of the
hard work they will invest into Sandpiper Juniors. With their dedication and
leadership, we will see Sandpiper Juniors flourish. We feel privileged to lead
this unbelievable group of young women and are excited to experience a year of philanthropy.
Here’s
to another fulfilling year of service and giving back to our community!
