Presidents Message

As your 2007-2008 Sandpiper Juniors Co-Presidents, we would like to welcome you to what we hope will be a successful and enjoyable year! We have a deep respect for this organization (now in our 46th year of community service!) and we are honored to assume this leadership role as your Co-Presidents.

One of our primary goals for the upcoming year is to have a united Sandpiper Juniors—where everyone, regardless of what school you attend or what activities you are involved in, can learn together, develop lasting friendships and have fun! We hope that each of us will feel we’ve gotten to know our fellow members better by the end of the year and that we can foster a sense of sisterhood within our organization.

While friendship and fun are important, these goals of course come second to Sandpiper Juniors’ primary mission: to serve and benefit our community and those in need. Community service is the reason for our esteemed group’s existence and we must not lose sight of the fact that effective and meaningful local outreach is always at the top of our agenda. Giving back will help enrich our lives and the lives of others, while setting an example for younger generations of the South Bay.

It should be noted that many thanks are due to our parent organization, Sandpipers, for its continued support and assistance throughout the years. We would also like to thank our community service affiliates for giving us and those before us the opportunity to serve our community. Lastly, we would like to thank our Executive Board for all of the work they’ve done as well as an advance thank-you for all the contributions they will be making in the upcoming year.

As your Co-Presidents, we look forward to an exciting and fulfilling year. We encourage each of you to share your comments and ideas with us as we move through the year. We look forward to collaborating with everyone on all aspects of the organization’s success.

Here’s to another excellent and rewarding Sandpiper Juniors year!
